Popiah’s outer layer is a soft and thin paper-like crepe. The filling comes with steamed turnip, grated carrots, bean sprouts, lettuce leaves, peanuts and some other common variations like shrimps and sausages. Shrimp paste sauce or sweet sauce will be added into the popiah. There are no standard ingredients in a popiah, so you can just wrap it your own way!
